Most Popular Books on College Campuses

While summer is here and the busy school year has created disdain for reading, and for books in general, the Chronicle of Higher Education just released a list of the top 10 books purchased on college campuses during the month of May.

There are some interesting selections on it.

Those in search of something trashy should look no further than the two Chelsea Handler books.

For those looking for something a little more… substantial, check out the classic Freakonomics or The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine.

Coming in at number ten is the children’s book, Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss. This one made the list, one can only imagine, because it was a popular gift for recent graduates.

If you find yourself lounging by the pool this weekend and have the desire to actually do something mildly productive, maybe you should pick one up?
