Arts Fest: A First Timers Look

This is my first Arts Fest. Shameful, but sadly true. I have heard a lot about Arts Fest over my time here at PSU and now am finally able to experience it to the fullest. Good thing I have this handy guide to help me find my way around Arts Fest. I was however left to navigate my way around the vendors on my own.

Rockview Property Finally Sold

After months of negotiations the Spring Creek Canyon area has been parceled off and purchased, and Penn State is now the legal owner of more than 450 acres off of Benner Pike. The state Game Commission, the Fish and Boat Commission, along with Benner Township also got their own slices of the former-prison-land pie when the Pennsylvania House of Representatives voted 199-1 to approve legislation authorizing the sale.

Café Laura Holding More Theme Dinners

Starting on Monday, Café Laura will be holding a series of midweek theme dinners through August 5. The restaurant is designed to give students in the School of Hospitality, Restaurant, and, Institutional Management hands-on experience (required for their degrees) by simulating the kind of environment they will be working in after graduation.
