Rally in the Valley Kicks Off Tonight

The Blue & White Society's annual Rally in the Valley will be held tonight in Rec Hall following the Penn State women's volleyball game. Join the Lionettes, cheerleaders and the Blue Band for a night full of Penn State Football pride! Coach Paterno will also be there, joined by members of the football team, to give a motivational speech to those in attendance.

Penn State Maintains High Athlete Graduation Rate

Fun fact for you all out there: Penn State athletes actually take classes here too! And as a matter of fact, they do pretty well in those classes, according to the NCAA, which released its graduation rate rankings on Wednesday.

Sims Discusses Direction of UPUA

Vice President for Student Affairs Damon Sims gave a special presentation at Wednesday's University Park Undergraduate Association meeting. Sims spoke for 45 minutes, chiefly about the direction and role of UPUA and student government in the upcoming era of the university. Drawing on his own experiences with student government and student leadership, he presented some interesting ideas.

The LION 90.7fm Celebrates Birthday Friday

The LION 90.7fm will be celebrating its 15th birthday from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. The day also marks 59 years of student radio at Penn State.
