President Spanier Addresses Budget in Email Blast

Penn State President Graham Spanier sent out an email blast to all faculty and staff after a budget containing a 19% cut to the university's appropriation was passed by the State legislature. The budget now only awaits signature by Gov. Tom Corbett. Check it out in full after the jump.

Report: Bowman Removed From Basketball Team

Penn State basketball sophomore guard Tre Bowman has reportedly been removed from the team for the fall semester.

Coed Floors Coming to East Halls

As the incoming Class of 2015 begins to populate campus, they will be met with changes to the previous housing structure in East Halls. This fall, freshmen moving into East may be surprised to learn that their neighbors are not all of the same gender.

For the first time for the residence area, East Halls will feature co-ed housing in three of its 14 residence halls.
