PRIDE Organizes Event to Welcome Coach O’Brien
PRIDE, the Penn State sportsmanship team, has organized an event to welcome new head football coach Bill O’Brien and his family to Penn State. Coach O’Brien and his awesomely strange chin will arrive in Happy Valley on Tuesday, the day after he runs the New England Patriots offense in Super Bowl XLVI against the New York Giants, but PRIDE is making sure he is celebrated before he even returns to campus.
According to the event’s Facebook page, Coach O’Brien will be welcomed at the HUB on the ground floor between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. on Monday. Those who stop by will able to sign PRIDE’s pledge to spread sportsmanship campus wide and will receive Penn State football game day pins.
There will also be trivia so Penn State fans can learn more about our honorable new leader. Maybe a part of this trivia will be the exact circumference of the crevice in his chin, because I have been unable to calculate this so far.
