Baseball Season Tickets On Sale This Week

vs. purdue 041511

If you long for the smell of fresh cut grass and the sound of the ping of the (metal) bat on the baseball diamond, then Penn State has a hell of a deal for you.

Student season tickets for this year’s Penn State Nittany Lion baseball team are now on sale. Tickets can be purchased this week in the HUB from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will run you just $20 for all 22 home games.

With a purchase of season tickets, students will receive benefits that more than make up for the cost:

  • Free ¾ length sleeve PSU baseball shirt
  • Free hot dog and soft drink for each Friday night game
  • 2 Batting Practice sessions with the Penn State baseball team on the field at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park

And you’ll get to see the Penn State squad play at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, which is a fantastic venue for a baseball game and one of the top college stadiums in the country. With a beautiful unobstructed view of Mount Nittany, you’ll have something to look at even if the Nittany Lions are struggling.

The Lions (3-11) have struggled through the road non-conference portion of their schedule, but every team has a clean slate once Big Ten play rolls around.

The Lions home opener is next Wednesday, March 21 against Pitt. Their first home conference series is that weekend (March 23-25) against the Indiana Hoosiers. Get your season tickets this week, and see those games in person.
