What did you say? This Saturday is a “holiday” that mainly consists of drinking all day while wearing green? Sign me up! I wish Penn State had a day like that!
Yes, this Saturday is good ol’ Saint Patrick’s Day, not to be confused with State Patty’s Day, which is neither good nor ol’. To aid in your festivities, we at Onward State have taken it upon ourselves to make a Spotify playlist of the best Irish-tinged tunes to blast obnoxiously out your window for all of State College to hear. Check out the whole list, and be sure to listen to my personal favorite: “Irish Celebration” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

Former Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin was passed on in last weekend’s NFL Draft, but that does not mean his NFL dream has ended. On Tuesday, the Scranton signal caller announced that he would be participating in the Washington Redskins’ rookie mini-camp beginning on Thursday.
