Penn State and Ohio State Organize Blood Drive
The Penn State Student Red Cross Club has organized a month-long blood drive in the second annual “Fight for Life”. Penn State will compete to give the most blood against the Ohio State University Student Red Cross Club. The friendly competition began Monday, April 2 and will conclude on Friday, April 27.
“We’re really excited to compete in the Fight for Life for the second year in a row,” said Student Red Cross Club President Christine Theberge in a press release. “We encourage anyone that is eligible to donate at one these drives, not only to help beat OSU but to help save lives. As much as we like to have bragging rights, at the end of the day we’re concerned with making sure there’s enough blood for people who need it.”
Those who donate will be given coupons for a $.99 breakfast sandwich from McLanahan’s, money off of your next purchase from Appalachian Outdoors, and a buy one, get one half-off deal from Got Used Bookstore.
