PSNtv to Celebrate 10-Year Anniversary

Established in 2003, PSNtv, Penn State’s only student-run television network, is currently celebrating its ten year anniversary. An official “birthday party” will be held Thursday, Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the HUB to celebrate ten years of coverage.

The network currently boasts eight shows ranging from news to sports to comedy. The work of its 150 members can be found on campus channel 15 or at its Youtube channel every day.

The HUB event will allow Penn State students learn about individual shows and interact with producers and network members through games and prizes such as gift cards to shops downtown. The network will also be giving away Jay Z Magna Carter World Tour tickets as a grand prize in addition to other freebies and prizes.

PSNtv has recently undergone a major transformation, increasing social media presence on Facebook and Twitter and developing a new website.

Happy ten years, PSNtv, and here’s to ten more!
