No. 9 Spartans End Penn State’s Streak With Dominant 82-67 Win

While this isn't a foolproof formula, typically a failure to pick up defensive rebounds will lead to a loss. That was the case on Thursday night as No. 9 Michigan State dominated the glass with a 42-29 rebound advantage en route to a 82-67 win over the Nittany Lions.

Altoona Student Charged in Bomb-Making Case

Penn State Altoona student Vladislav Miftakhov was charged in federal court today for making and possessing a bomb in connection with his January 24th arrest. Miftakhov was first investigated by police due to suspicions that he was growing marijuana in his Altoona residence. While searching his apartment, police found bomb-making materials as well as what they believed to be a bomb in addition to five marijuana plants.

Penn State Named as Defendant in Paterno Lawsuit

oe Paterno's family is suing Penn State -- talk about things I never thought I would say in my lifetime. The university was named as a defendant in an amended complaint filed yesterday as part of Judge John Leete's that said the group couldn't sue the NCAA to mitigate the sanctions without Penn State getting involved.
