Penn State To Hold Press Conference Tomorrow For ‘Personnel Decision’
Penn State announced that it will hold a press conference tomorrow in Beaver Stadium at noon to announce a “personnel decision,” which all signs point to being the selection of the next athletic director.

According to the CDT, President Eric Barron sent a letter to all of Penn State’s staff and coaches in intercollegiate athletics informing them of the selection. The press release says that Barron will lead off the press conference followed by a question-and-answer.
Penn State revealed its search committee to replace David Joyner in June after he announced that he will retire on Aug. 1. The Chicago Tribune has reported that Penn State had interest in Northwestern’s Jim Phillips for the job, but news on that front has been mum since. Stay tuned for more updates.
