An attempted rape/sexual assault that reportedly occurred near Beaver Stadium and Medlar Field last night was reported to Penn State Police this morning.

According to police, the victim, who was a visitor, reported that she was walking near Curtin Road and Porter Road last night sometime between 11:41 p.m. and 1:02 a.m. when she was approached by an unknown male who asked if she was alright. Then, she reported that he attempted to remove her clothing, and she woke up with her clothes off and ran toward downtown State College. According to police, it can be assumed that conditions still exist that may pose a threat to the community.

The suspect is described as a tall white male, aged between 19 and 20, with slender build and unknown hair color. He was reportedly wearing a dark color striped shirt with a breast pocket on the right side.
