If not owning a tent has been your excuse for Nittanyville absences, it’s time to get to Gate A.

Nittanyville introduced a new Tent Rental Program for next week’s weeklong against Ohio State. It’ll run you $20 to rent a tent, but you’ll get $10 back on Saturday morning at tent return so long as you didn’t tarnish the product. First-time campers will get priority for tent rentals on a first-come, first-served basis. Renting a tent does not guarantee a spot in Nittanyville, though, as campers still need to go through the usual sign-in process on ANGEL.

According to the release, the goal of the program is for first-time Nittanyville campers to get a taste of the camping experience without the “upfront costs of purchasing a tent and associated materials.” The program will be available to campers on a week-by-week basis.

Tents go up on Monday for Nittanyville’s second weeklong in three years against Ohio State.
