Levels to Host Benefit Concert to End Violence
Levels Nightclub will host the first annual Music to End Violence Benefit Concert this Wednesday, Oct. 22 benefitting the Centre County Women’s Resource Center. A number of local artists will perform, ranging from a pirate choir to belly dancers.
The Centre County Women’s Resource Center is a State College-based organization that provides resources to victims of domestic and sexual violence in the area. Since its start in 1975, it has assisted hundreds of victims in Centre County, including a number of Penn State students, according to its website.
Artists performing include Laura Boswell, Annalisa, Bilge Rats, Pure Cane Sugar, Eric Farmer, and the Pepper Lotus Dance Ensemble. The show will start at 7 p.m. and cost $5 for those older than 18 and $3 for the 21 and over crowd. One free drink is included with cover charge.
