Police Investigating Another Sutton Court Arson
State College Police are investigating an arson at Sutton Court, the second to occur at the location in the last month.
Police responded to a fire alarm at Sutton Court on 664 E. Prospect Ave. on January 25 at 3:22 a.m., discovering that someone had intentionally lit a cloth on fire in the hallway. Police currently have an open investigation for an arson that occurred at 668 E. Prospect Ave. on December 24, 2014, in which an accelerant was used to ignite cleaning supplies in the basement.
Police are offering a $1,000 reward for information that could lead to an arrest regarding either of the fires. If you have information about either of the fires, call State College Police at (814) 234-7150 or submit an anonymous tip.
