Spring Career Days To Start At Bryce Jordan Center

Every year, Penn State hosts just under 500 companies looking for prospective employees currently attending the university. So students, get your suits tailored, your ties tightened, your hair done, and your résumés ready because it’s time to look for a job.

Who Will Be There?

Major companies like Comcast/NBC Universal, Johnson & Johnson, Mars Inc., Dell Inc., and many others will be there looking for full-time employees and interns. Any student, freshman to senior, is welcome to come and meet with companies at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Why Should I Go?

Career Days are a great opportunity to either secure a job for post-graduation for seniors, or for underclassmen looking to network. If you are an underclassman, networking with companies is a great way to prepare for your future and step ahead of the curve. In addition to the companies, there will also be free products if you’re looking to do some professional swag shopping.

When Is It?

Career Days will take place today and tomorrow at the BJC from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Each day will have specific companies so you can find the job best suited to your major:

  • Monday, Feb. 9 – Business, Communications, Management, Sales, Liberal Arts
  • Tuesday, Feb. 10 – Computer Technology, Engineering, IST, Science

****

Career Days are a great opportunity to get your name out there and find the companies that are looking for employees like you. For seniors, if you haven’t found a job yet, this could be your last time to find one on campus. As for the younger students, it’s never too early to start planning your future.
