Anthony Zettel Will Play Today Against SDSU After Father’s Passing
After a lengthy battle with cancer, defensive lineman Anthony Zettel’s father passed away on Friday.
Despite the terrible news, Zettel is in State College and will play today for the Nittany Lions against San Diego State. The news was first reported by Frank Bodani and the York Daily Record.

Audrey Snyder of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette tweeted this photo earlier this afternoon of Zettel entering Beaver Stadium.

Zettel’s family made the trip to State College this morning and will be here when he takes the field. According to Bodani, the family will leave after the game and head up to Michigan for Terry’s memorial service.
