Penn State Accepting Portrait Submissions For ‘Resilience’ End-Of-Year Video

Penn Staters around the world have demonstrated their creativity and resilience this year in response to the coronavirus pandemic. To celebrate this, Penn State will be pointing its lens at its students, faculty, staff, and alumni in its end-of-year video.

Portrait submissions for Penn State’s resilience-themed end-of-year video must be submitted by Monday, November 9. Photo uploads and submissions can be made via an online form.

A video montage of selected portraits will be published on Penn State’s social media platforms and website in mid-December.

Professional photos are not required, but Penn State asks that participants look straight into the camera to show determination and resilience in a well-lit area. Smiles are encouraged!

Students, faculty, staff, and alumni are encouraged to show their Penn State pride but should avoid displaying prominent brands and logos. Additionally, if the portrait is shot in public, participants must social distance and wear a mask.

Photo submissions do not guarantee inclusion in the final video. Penn State’s Office of Strategic Communications will reach out to selected participants for photo releases.
