Defensive Back Frederik Lesieur Commits To Penn State As Preferred Walk-On
Canadian Frederik Lesieur is coming to Happy Valley as a preferred walk run-on.
The defensive back announced via Twitter Thursday night that he is joining James Franklin’s program.

Lesieur hails from Collège André-Grasset High School in Montreal, Quebec Canada where he played both cornerback and wide receiver. According to his Hudl profile, the 6’3″, 215-pounder ran a 4.53 40-yard dash and has a 36.1-inch vertical.
According to his Twitter bio, Lesieur is coming to Penn State as a defensive back. He’ll join a crowded defensive back room that is headlined by Joey Porter Jr., Tariq Castro-Fields, and Jaquan Brisker. Lesieur will have plenty of competition for playing time early on.
He’s one of many run-ons to join Franklin’s 2021 class, joining the likes of kicker/punter Gabe Nwosu and offensive tackle Ryan Wills.
