Penn State Hoops To Host ‘Shrews’ Slamma Jamma’ October 28
Basketball season is right around the corner in Happy Valley, folks.
To promote student excitement for the start of the season, head coach Micah Shrewsberry, along with the men’s basketball program, is hosting a “Slamma Jamma event” at 6 p.m on Thursday, October 28 at the East Halls basketball courts.

The inaugural event will give Penn State fans and students the opportunity to meet coach Shrewsberry along with other members of the team. Those in attendance will also get to enjoy free food and enter some contests to win prizes, too.
Penn State men’s basketball is entering its first season with Micah Shrewsberry at the helm as head coach. The Nittany Lions will begin their season on Wednesday, November 10, with a home matchup against Youngstown State. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. and will be available to watch on the Big Ten Network.
