Lady Lions-Iowa Matchup Rescheduled For January 25

Penn State women’s basketball’s home matchup against Iowa has officially been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 25, per an announcement from the team. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center, and the game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.

The game was originally scheduled for December 30 and was postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests among the Lady Lions’ roster. A game against Ohio State was also postponed the following day, though a rescheduled contest has yet to be announced.

All previously purchased tickets for the game are still valid for the rescheduled date. Additional tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster.

Carolyn Kieger’s squad currently ranks 10th in the Big Ten standings with an overall 6-7 record and a 1-2 record in conference play. Despite boasting a sub-.500 record, the team is a perfect 5-0 at home. With two consecutive home games next up on the schedule, a momentum shift in the Lady Lions’ favor could be in play.
