Jahan Dotson Named NFL’s Rookie Of The Week
Former Penn State star and current Washington Commanders wide receiver Jahan Dotson was named the Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week for his head-turning week one performance, the Commanders announced on Thursday.

Dotson recorded three catches for 40 yards along with two touchdowns, one of which ended up being the game-winning score in the Commander’s 28-22 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

With the two touchdowns, Dotson became the first rookie receiver in Commanders franchise history to record two-plus touchdowns in a week one contest.
After being selected with the No. 16 overall pick back in April, Dotson has quickly shown the league how great of a player he really is and is on the right path to being a contender for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
Dotson and the Commanders will take on former Penn State cornerback Amani Oruwariye and the Detroit Lions at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 18.
