Report: Penn State Hoops Forward Favour Aire Enters Transfer Portal
Penn State men’s basketball forward Favour Aire has entered the transfer portal, per Verbal Commits. Aire, a former Miami player, struggled to find on-court minutes in his lone season with the Nittany Lions.
Aire appeared in 11 games for the Nittany Lions, recorded a total of 50 minutes. He was injured for the opening games of the season, first appearing on December 29 against Rider. His time was highlighted by 11-minute and 18-minute performances against Northwestern and Michigan State, respectively. Aire recorded a total of five points, 11 rebounds, six blocks, three steals, and five turnovers.
Aire was the third Nittany Lion to reportedly hit the portal on Monday, after Kanye Clary and Bragi Guðmundsson.
