State College Spikes To Host SpikesFest April 6

The State College Spikes will host their annual SpikesFest from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.

The family-friendly event will take place before the second game of Penn State baseball’s three-game series against Northwestern, which is set to begin at 2 p.m.

All attendees to SpikesFest and the Nittany Lions’ battle with the Wildcats will receive free admission.

SpikesFest will excite fans for the upcoming State College Spikes season through various interactive activities and exclusive ticket deals.

This year’s events include a mascot meet and greet with Ike the Spike, a SpikesFest charity auction featuring collectibles, and other interactive displays from various community organizations.

The event will also include a giveaway of eclipse glasses to the first 1,500 fans courtesy of the Penn State Eberly College of Science through the Pennsylvania Space Grant Consortium.

General ballpark concessions will be available for purchase, too.

Fans will have an exclusive opportunity to purchase single-game Spikes tickets to all 40 games of the 2024 season at discounted rates. Season ticket holders can also pick up their tickets at this time. Pickups and purchases will be made available at the State College Spikes ticket office.
