Former Penn State Football Wide Receiver Mitchell Tinsley Has Signed With The Cincinnati Bengals

Former Penn State wide receiver Mitchell Tinsley is set to return to the Cincinnati Bengals after they signed him off the Houston Texans’ practice squad Tuesday.

The Bengals are adding receiving depth after losing Andrei Iosivas, who was placed on injured reserve with a thumb injury.

In Tinsley’s 2025 season with the Bengals, he played in all 17 games and started four. He recorded eight catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns.

At Penn State, Tinsley recorded 51 catches for 577 yards and five touchdowns in 13 games during the 2022 season. He graduated in 2022 and went undrafted before signing with the Washington Commanders in 2023.

Tinsley now returns to a 2-1 Bengals team after its 30-27 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3.

He will provide additional depth to Cincinnati’s receiving corps heading into Week 4.
