Gift proposals for the 2016 Class Gift Campaign are due this Friday, September 18. Gift proposals are open to anyone in the Penn State community.
It’s an American tendency: we focus on women’s looks. When I looked at sorority Bid Day photos yesterday, all the comments talked about was how "HOT" their new pledge class was. But what does this say about what we value? What about everything else our sisters bring to the table, besides their looks? Greek women are so much more than that, and it's time we start acting like it.

As my graduation loomed ever closer this spring, the fact I’m leaving one of my favorite places and some of my favorite people became more palpable, and assignments became increasingly less important. But despite knowing I was leaving, I couldn't stop spending time working towards something I had been involved with for the past year: the development of a student farm at Penn State.
