The State College Borough has announced the LION Challenge Contest, open for all State College community members to submit their unique definition or descriptions of what it means to live in one neighborhood. This slogan contest is open to all community members, and winners will have their submissions published during fall 2015.

A Penn State student was tasered and arrested on a variety of charges including aggravated assault and resisting arrest after a fight at McDonald’s early Saturday morning.
Though final numbers aren’t ready yet, the State College Police Department estimates that the number of calls they fielded this past weekend was comparable to the amount from State Patty’s Day weekend last year.
