Penn State Launches Social Media Fundraiser

With a simple "like" of the Penn State Forever Facebook page, or a follow on twitter, $1 will be donated to the Microfinance Match Fund thanks to alumnus Tom Sharbaugh. The fund is an emergency loan set up for students needing financial aid. After graduation, this loan is less expensive to pay off than most private loans.

Overheard on the Megabus

Jay Paterno and Coquese Washington Speak to Students on Voting

Last night in Heritage Hall, Jay Paterno and women's basketball coach, Coquese Washington, opened up with students over the importance of voting in this up-coming presidential election. The event hosted by PSU Votes was designed to give Penn State the fodder to spark political engagement within the student body. But from the strikingly low attendance, will there be enough voices to carry the torch?
