Comm GRAD Forum to Discuss Occupy Wall Street

It’s been several months since the first tents sprang up in Zuccotti Park, but the anti-corporate Occupy Wall Street movement isn't far from anyone’s radar. The first Comm GRAD forum of the semester revolves around Occupy Wall Street and will be held on Tuesday, January 31st, in the Warring Commons West Study Lounge, from 12-1:15 pm.

Do you miss the warmer days of Fall semester when frat bros in snapback hats flooded the campus? If so, tonight you can revel in your nostalgia because Penn State basketball snapbacks will be given out for free to students who come out to the Bryce Jordan Center tonight as the Lions face 19th-ranked Wisconsin at 8 pm. It also another Dollar Dog Night and fans will receive a free Penn State basketball Nerf Hoop set while supplies last.

IFC Attempts to Stop State Patty’s Day

On Monday night, the Interfraternity Council announced their ban on fraternities hosting State Patty's Day parties. The IFC is hoping for a sober Penn State on February 25th, and instead plans to involve students in a (sober) "philanthropic event" in the downtown area.

State of Emergency: Ingrosso and Alesso To Play BJC

The creators of DAYGLOW announced tonight that the world's largest paint party would be making a trip to Happy Valley in April, but that's not the only bomb they dropped. Just a few days before State Patty's Day, on Thursday, February 23rd, superstar DJ's Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso will grace State College with their presence with what should be a great night of music at the Bryce Jordan Center.
