The Bryce Jordan Center announced yesterday that comedian Kevin Hart will bring his standup act to State College on April 29th, according to their Facebook page. The performance is part of the “Let Me Explain” tour.

For those unfamiliar with Hart’s standup, he has a casual, laid-back style punctuated with some harder-hitting moments. He’s best known for his three Comedy Central specials, “I’m a Grown Little Man,” “Seriously Funny,” and “Laugh at My Pain,” the last of which was extremely successful, and bits like his “Fight Moves” piece have made him very popular.

Hart has also played parts in numerous films and television shows, most notably Modern Family and as sorcerer Zezelryck in the Comedy Central/BBC Two series “Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire.” He has also been in a couple of music videos and is currently making a film version of “Laugh at My Pain.”
