Drunk, Sober, High: Sesame Street Live

It's rare that a television show stands the test of time, but that's exactly what Sesame Street has done for over four decades. The legendary children's show has won eight Grammys and 118 Emmys, and has been a staple in family living rooms for generations. Last night, those lovable characters from 123 Sesame Street came to life at the Bryce Jordan Center with Sesame Street Live. Below, you’ll read the experiences of three writers who took it upon themselves to have a great night from different perspectives.

Lennartz/Mullen Ticket Unveils Eleven Page Platform

Ponter/Kristobak wasn't the only ticket to hold an introductory campaign meeting in Willard last night. Directly across the hall, Courtney Lennartz and Katelyn Mullen also held a kick off meeting to reveal their 11-page platform.

Ponter/Kristobak Ticket Kicks Off Campaign

Evan Ponter and Ryan Kristobak unveiled their three pillar platform to a group of students last night. The platform includes key issues including transparancy, an area the candidates think the UPUA need improvement in. Both candidates referenced their ties to on-campus activism in their introduction, and said that they wanted to reduce student apathy, making the student body “a force to be reckoned with.”

Ring in the Spring with School of Seven Bells

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you'll be happy to know that spring concerts at Chronic Town are back, and their first show of the season will feature School of Seven Bells (or SVIIB).

IceBreaking: Pegula Ice Arena Set to Break Ground April 20th

Penn State hockey has announced that the groundbreaking ceremony for the Pegula Ice Arena, set to open in the fall of 2013, will be held on April 20th at the Penn State Field Hockey Complex.

Laugh Your Hart Out: BJC to Bring Kevin Hart

The Bryce Jordan Center announced yesterday that Comedian Kevin Hart will bring his standup act to State College on April 29th, according to their Facebook page. The performance is part of the "Let Me Explain" tour.
