Joey Julius Returning To Beaver Stadium This Weekend As A Fan
Beloved former Penn State kicker Joey Julius will return to Beaver Stadium to watch his first Penn State game since last season’s run to the Big Ten Championship.
Julius, who left the program this summer after two seasons with the Nittany Lions, announced on Twitter that he’ll be at the White Out game against Michigan on Saturday.

Julius first spoke about his struggle with an eating disorder last October. He wasn’t with the team for the Blue-White game in the spring, then said in May that he checked in again to the St. Louis treatment center. He went into more detail in an interview with ESPN about his depression and eating disorder after Penn State made the announcement that he wasn’t with the team anymore.
Julius made his name known in Penn State lore after laying down some brutal hits on kickoff returns — particularly one against Michigan where he nearly knocked Michigan returner Jourdan Lewis out of the Big House.
