Saquon Barkley Tosses First Pitch At Yankees Game

Saquon Barkley made a trip home to the Bronx to throw out the first pitch at Tuesday night’s game between the Yankees and Houston Astros.

The New York Giants’ rookies were invited out to Yankee Stadium for the game. Barkley, the team’s first round draft pick, can tear up the football field, but it doesn’t look like he’s going to become two-sport phenom Bo Jackson anytime soon.

Sure, it was in the dirt. We all can’t step out on the mound and throw strikes like James Franklin.

Speaking to the media after the pitch, Barkley took some of Franklin’s recruiting skills to sell Yankees slugger Aaron Judge on switching sports and confirming that he is actually a Yankees fan, but he grew up in a Mets household.

Maybe he finally opened that sports bar named after one of his photos, the Blurry Zamboni. Or he might just be eating chicken tenders and couch surfing. Anything’s possible.
