Penn State’s Official Website Gets New Look

Penn State’s official website underwent a facelift following a year-long development effort and relaunched on October 28.

The new-look site has an emphasis on “enhanced storytelling” and user needs. Additionally, the website is more compatible with mobile devices.

“The website is the front door to the University, and we believe the new, modern site reflects Penn State’s excellence, and community collectedness, and is in line with the expectations of our web-savvy audiences,” Lawrence Lokman, Penn State’s vice president for strategic communications, said.

The homepage includes a sleek new design with a dropdown menu that includes seven categories: This is Penn State, Academics, Admission, Tuition and Aid, Research, Athletics, and News.

Lokman added that the site is built to be adaptable as the audience changes and more technology becomes available. He said that the new site will allow strategic communications to quickly bring new information to prospective students and current students at Penn State.

The website’s new look can be found here.
