Penn State Baseball-Pitt’s March 29 Matchup Postponed Due To Inclement Weather
Penn State baseball won’t play Pitt on March 29 thanks to inclement weather expected in Happy Valley at the top of the week.
On Monday, State College experienced temperatures in the 20s and a handful of snow squalls that prompted warnings from the National Weather Service. Tuesday’s high temperature creeps up to 40 degrees, per AccuWeather, but it’s not exactly baseball weather.

Schedule Update
Due to weather today and tomorrow's forecast, we will not play Pitt tomorrow.

Both teams are attempting to find a date to play later in the season, according to a media release. Penn State is already scheduled to face Pitt later in the season at PNC Park on May 17.
With Tuesday’s matchup scratched, the Nittany Lions’ next game will come on Wednesday, March 30, against St. Bonaventure. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
This weekend, the Nittany Lions will travel to College Park, Maryland, to take on the Terrapins in a three-game series to continue conference play.
