Former Penn State Football Wide Receiver Jaden Dottin Transfers To Toledo

Former Penn State wide receiver Jaden Dottin transferred to Toledo, he announced Thursday. Dottin joins the Rockets with three years of eligibility remaining.

Dottin committed to Penn State in 2019 as a four-star recruit as part of the program’s recruiting Class of 2020. Despite his four-star status, Dottin was still the third-ranked wide receiver in the group, sitting behind Parker Washington, now of the Jacksonville Jaguars, and KeAndre Lambert-Smith.

While Washington and Lambert-Smith excelled at Penn State, Dottin fell behind. In his time in Happy Valley, Dottin caught just two passes for a total of 14 yards.

Dottin is one of several Nittany Lions to depart the program via the transfer portal after the 2022 season. Most notably, cornerback Storm Duck departed after joining the program in the same offseason, while former Penn State running back Keyvone Lee recently announced his move to Mississippi State. Dottin’s departure comes after he announced his entrance into the transfer portal in January.
