Penn State Football Kicker Alex Felkins Declares For NFL Draft

Penn State football kicker Alex Felkins has declared for the NFL Draft, he announced on Twitter Thursday. The placekicker transferred from Columbia to Penn State for his final year of eligibility.

“I wouldn’t be the football player and person I am now if not for all of the lessons I learned in Happy Valley,” Felkins wrote. “I hope I left my mark.”

Felkins wasn’t the starting placekicker at the beginning of the 2023 season but won the job early in the season opener against West Virginia after Sander Sahaydak missed his first two field goal attempts of the season. From there, Felkins was the primary placekicker for the rest of the season.

The Tulsa, Oklahoma, native went 14-19 during his lone season as a Nittany Lion with a long of 50 yards.

Along with Felkins, Kalen King,  Adisa IsaacChop RobinsonTheo JohnsonCurtis JacobsCaedan WallaceDaequan Hardy, and Olu Fashanu have also declared for the 2024 NFL Draft.
