Going Downhill with the Ski Club

When 250 people turn out to a general club meeting, and it's not THON, that club must be doing something right. With the acrid smell of free Red Bull (a sponsor) hanging in the air, hundreds of students interested in going skiing and snowboarding packed into an undersized Willard classroom. The President of the Penn State Ski club sheepishly admitted that “we didn’t know this many people would come.”

T.I. has canceled his scheduled September 24th performance at the Bryce Jordan Center. The BJC has removed all information relating to the concert.

Borough Council, UPUA Discuss Student Representation

At the University Park Undergraduate Association weekly meeting on Wednesday, September 15th, Mayor Elizabeth Goreham and State College Borough Council President Ronald L. Filippelli spoke to the general assembly and the visitors about the possibility of establishing a formalized relationship between the Penn State student body and the Borough Council through student representation on the Council.
